Confirmit Flex
Confirmit Flex is a new way to get more out of the power of the Confirmit platform. It allows Confirmit users and partners to extend the functionality of Confirmit in a productive and secure environment. This offers greater flexibility in the creation of new survey applications—allowing businesses with specific needs to build bespoke solutions that take advantage of the latest data collection methods, design technologies, or reporting requirements. Confirmit Flex offers three applications for on-demand users of Confirmit Horizons Version 15, with more to follow throughout 2010.
iPhone Surveys
By using this application, you can:

Description
This interface ensures that when a user opens your Confirmit survey on their iPhone, it is automatically opened in an iPhone-friendly format. Instead of tiny radio buttons that work on a PC, but are impossible in a touch-screen environment, the survey will take on characteristics that provide a smooth and enjoyable user experience. This is entirely handled by enabling the iPhone application at the authoring stage of the survey process and requires no action from the respondent.
Geolocation
This Confirmit Flex application allows you to:
- Gain greater insight through clear visualization of respondent location.
- Reduce the threat of survey fraud through IP monitoring.
Description
Survey fraud is an increasing concern for many research projects. By using this application during the authoring process, a designer can select countries from which users must either originate or not originate. For example, if a survey must be completed only by European respondents, the survey will either reject or flag up respondents from other locations. A Google Earth and Google Maps interface provides visualization of where respondents are located. This increases efficiency by reducing the time that analysts must spend cleaning data, and provides more accurate results.
Email Opt Out
This Confirmit Flex application allows you to:
- Greater efficiencies by automating the management of blacklists.
- Reduce risk of including blacklisted respondents and damaging your relationship with them.
Description
The Email Opt Out application provides users with the ability to manage blacklists of email addresses of people who have opted out of receiving surveys. You can manage such blacklists whether they are specific to a survey or affect any surveys across the your company. Users can add email addresses to the blacklists manually or by uploading a file with email addresses. In addition, email invitations/reminders can be set up to include links to allow respondents to manage whether or not they receive further reminders and invitations.
